Route

The Route processor function lets you apply different conditions to incoming data and handle it accordingly. You can use it to direct records to different outputs, based on the values in selected fields.

Configure the Route function before you connect other processors or forwarders in the stream. The conditions are evaluated in the order in which you add them. You can change the order at any time by dragging and dropping conditions in the Conditions box.

You typically use the Route function to:

• Separate records into different paths based on field values.

• Apply different processing steps to different subsets of data.

• Discard records that do not match any relevant conditions.
