ECS Changing State(3.0)
You can change the state of a selected number of entries or all entries. The possible states for the UDR or Batch files in the ECS are either New or Reprocessed. ECS entries with the Reprocessed state are normally entries that have been collected by an ECS collection agent. Reprocessed entries can have their state be reset to New to enable recollection.
Note!
If the number of matches is larger than the maximum number of UDRs to be displayed, see Maximum Number of Displayed UDR Entries in ECS Inspection(3.0), the state change will still be applied for all matching entries.
To change state of selected entries:
If you only want to change the state for a few of the entries, select the entries in the table, otherwise click on the Select All button to apply the state change for all entries, and Right click on the entries and select the Set State option from the menu.
The Set State dialog opens where you can see the total number of entries that will be affected.
Note!
If the number of matching entries exceeds the maximum number of entries that can be displayed in the ECS Inspector, the dialog will only tell you that all matching entries will be affected. If you proceed, another dialog will open up informing you about the total number of entries that will be affected, asking you if you want to continue.
Select the state that you want to set from the Select state: list and click OK.
If the number of matching entries exceeds the maximum number of entries that can be displayed you will get a question if you want to continue.
Click Yes if you want to continue.
If the number of matching entries exceeds the maximum number of entries that can be displayed, a progress bar will show the progress of the state change. This may be useful if you are changing the state for a large number of entries.
Otherwise, the state will simply be changed in the table and the timestamp in the Last RP State Change will be updated.
