Configuring Dynamic Naming in Fields

Usage Engine uses Variable Insertion (Interpolation) to enable more control for the user over naming of folders and filenames. It offers greater flexibility in defining folder structures and filenames by increasing the scope of using interpolation across various fields in Usage Engine. Using Variable Insertion modifies folder structures and filenames during runtime.

Note!

Flexibility in using Variable Insertion is extended to most functions in Usage Engine that contain fields that support Variable Insertion.

An intuitive way to configure the fields that support variable insertion can be explained using the following example:

The example requires that an Amazon S3 Bucket already exists, while the filename is dynamically created during runtime.
