IBM MQ Configuration(3.0)
You open the IBM MQ agent configuration dialog from a workflow configuration: you can right-click the agent icon and select Configuration..., or double-click the agent icon.
Depending on the selected Connection Mode, different configuration fields are available.
Common fields
The following fields are available for all Connection Modes.
Field | Description |
Dynamic Initialization | When this option is set, the configuration of the IBM MQ Collection agent will not be made from the configuration window. The agent will instead send a connection UDR to an Analysis agent which will populate the UDR and send it back to the IBM MQ Collection agent. See Connection UDRs in IBM MQ UDRs(3.0) for more information regarding the connection UDRs. |
MQ Host | The host name of the queue manager host. |
Port | The port for the queue manager. |
Channel | The name of the MQ channel. |
Queue Manager | The name of the queue manager. |
Connection Mode | Select which Connection Mode the agent should use. The possible values are Queues, Topics and Durable Subscriptions |
Fields for Queues
The following fields are available if Queues is selected as Connection Mode.
Field | Description |

Auto Remove | This check box is only available if you have selected Queues as Connection Mode. Select this check box if the message should be removed from the queue without requiring that the MQMessage UDR is routed back to the agent. |
Queues | List the queues that the agent should listen to. |
Fields for Topics
The following field is available if Topics is selected as Connection Mode.
