Creating External Reference Properties (2.2)

Follow these steps to set up a Properties Database with values:

  1. In the Usage Engine Desktop client, create an External Reference Profile with External Reference Type set to Properties Database.
  2. Populate the table with Local Keys and Database Keys and Save the Profile. The system automatically creates a table with these keys for you.
  3. Use the shortcut Edit External Reference to go directly to the Web Interface. Alternatively, log in to the Web Interface and go to Configurations>External Reference. The External Reference Overview table shows the rows created in the previous step.

It is mandatory to set the mzonline.host, mzonline.port values. For information on how to configure these values, refer to Platform Properties (2.2).

  1. Enter your Values in the External Reference Overview table.
  2. You can also update the rows using the Open API.
