Scalable Inter Workflow Profile (4.3)

The Scalable Inter Workflow profile enables you to configure the Partition Profile used by the Scalable Inter WF agents. The Scalable Inter Workflow profile is loaded when you start a workflow. Changes to the profile become effective when you restart the workflow.

Configuration

To create a new Scalable Inter Workflow profile configuration, click the Build → New Configuration in the upper part of the Desktop window, and then select Scalable Inter Workflow Profile from the menu.

The contents of the menus in the menu bar may change depending on which configuration type is opened. The Scalable Inter Workflow profile uses the standard menu items and buttons that are visible for all configurations, and these are described in Build View (4.3).

Scalable Inter Workflow Profile configuration

The Inter Workflow profile configuration contains the following settings:

Setting	Description
Storage Type	Kafka is the only storage type available on the Scalable Inter Workflow Profile.
Partition Profile	Choose from a list of Partition Profiles. The Partition Profile (4.3) will determine the maximum number of partitions to be created within a scalable solution.
Named MIMs	A list of user-defined MIM names. These variables do not have any values assigned. They are populated with existing MIM values from the Scalable Inter Workflow forwarding agent. This way, MIMs from the forwarding workflow can be passed on to the collecting workflow
