This section describes the FTP NMSC collection agent. This agent is for batch workflow configurations.

The FTP/NMSC collection agent collects data files from SMS / MMS Center and inserts them into a workflow by using the FTP protocol. To do this, two control files must be read and validated. The NMSC agent uses two control files to handle the state of the data files. The agent collects data files according to the specifications in the storage control file. For every successfully collected data file the agent updates a corresponding record in the transaction control file.
