Approve Delete(3.0)

Approve Delete web interface is where admins for Data Veracity, are able to approve the deletion of UDRs and batch files with the PRE_DELETE state. The Approve Delete web interface is accessed by selecting the Approve Delete option in the Data Veracity web interface Dashboard. 


Approving PRE_DELETE Records

Viewing of the all PRE_DELETE records are performed based on these steps:

  1. Select the UDR or batch group from the list that you would like to review that you will like to view by clicking on the Review button. The UDRs will be grouped according to their UDR types and Data Veracity Profiles while the batch files will be grouped according to the Data Veracity Profiles they are assigned to.

  2. You may select from certain display fields from the table that you would like to view. All fields are selected by default. The table will be updated as fields are removed or added.

    For UDR Records

    By clicking on the View UDR icon, the user will be able to inspect the UDR and see the field and values present inside the it.

  3. To approve the records, select the records you will want to approve the deletion and then click on the Approve button to approve the deletion of the records. If you are looking to approve all the records in the listing, click on the Approve button without selecting any records. You will be prompted with a message to confirm the approval. Clicking on OK will mark the records with the state DELETE_APPROVED.

  4. To reject the records, select the records you will want to reject the deletion and then click on the Reject button to reject the  deletion of the records. If you are looking to reject all the records in the listing, click on the Reject button without selecting any records. You will be prompted with a message to confirm the rejection. Clicking on OK will mark the records as NEW.

Export UDRs as CSV

Data Veracity allows the user to export all records in the search result into a zipped CSV file.

To export the records into CSV, click on the Export button , then enter the filename and the value that will be the delimeter for the CSV file. Clicking on OK will start the process to save all records into the CSV file and then zipping it.

Checking Include Header option will have generate the header title into the CSV file. Leaving it unchecked will generate a file populated only with records.
