The Desktop Client provides accessibility options, to make it more accommodating for all our users.

The following accessibility options are available:

  • Tooltips

  • Keyboard navigation and shortcut keys

  • Support for screen readers

Tooltips

Tooltips are added to certain selected objects to provide more context help. Tooltips appear when the focus indicator highlights the element or when you hover over an element.

Tooltip when highlighting the Configuration button.

Shortcut Keys

The Desktop Client allows you to perform actions available in right-click menus or using shortcut keys. 

The right click drop-down menu in the Ultra or APL code with the shortcut keys listed to the right of the menu name

Support for Screen Readers

Screen readers such as NonVisual Desktop Access can read the text and tooltips of the focus indicator highlighted object or element.
