1.2.3 Alarm Inspector Tab

An alarm can be searched and filtered via the Alarm Inspector tab. The result is presented in a table showing alarm name, description and severity configured in the Alarm Detection Editor, area, timestamp and state.

When searching for alarms the search form below is used.

Area:

The selected area will be monitored for alarms.

All

No filtering regarding area will be done. All areas below are included in the search. 

Host

Connected hosts are monitored for alarms.

Pico Client

The pico clients (desktop, platform, commandline tool EC and ECSA) are monitored for alarms.

Workflow

Workflows are monitored for alarms.

Workflow Group

Workflow groups are monitored.

Misc

Alarms occurring in an area not included in Host, Pico Client, Workflow or Workflow Group will be listed here.

State:

Alarms can be in either of two states New or Closed.

Name:

Show only alarms containing a specific string.

Note!

The name string is case sensitive.

Severity:
IntermediateWill cause a yellow sign in the overview.

Warning

Will cause a yellow sign in the overview.

Minor

Will cause a yellow sign in the overview.

Major

Will cause a red sign in the overview.

Critical

Will cause a red sign in the overview.

Period - From:

Start date of the period from which alarms will be viewed. Year, month and/or day is selected.

Period - To:

Finishing date of the period from which alarms will be viewed. Year, month and/or day is selected.

When a search has been executed the search result will be presented in a table. If the page is refreshed the search will be performed again, i.e. the search is repeated again with the same conditions specified in the most recent search. To change the search criteria, select Search at the top of the page and the Search Alarm page is displayed again.
