7. Standard Downgrade Procedure

A system downgrade is a user controlled downgrade to an older version of .

It is assumed that no configurations have been updated or added in the upgraded version. If this is not the case, it is necessary to end the downgrade procedure with a System Import of the configuration backup performed as described in section 6.2 Preparations.

Note!

For users who have custom agents created in Development Toolkit:

If you have custom agents created using Development Toolkit, which you have added to the upgraded version, these agents cannot be included in the downgrade. For information on how to remove them before proceeding with the downgrade procedure, see the section Upgrade and Downgrade in 2. Installation and Setup in Development Toolkit User's Guide.


The downgrade procedure consists of the following steps:

  1. Downgrade Preparations
  2. Disconnect Standalone Execution Contexts Before Downgrade
  3. Shut down Execution Before Downgrade
  4. Downgrade the Platform Container
  5. Downgrade the Execution Containers
  6. Resume Workflow Execution After  Downgrade
