Audit Dashboard

Licensing Information

The Audit dashboard is an add-on feature with the Usage Insights package so it may not be available on your account. Contact your Digital Route Sales representative for more information.

Usage Insights is a feature on Usage Engine Cloud Edition that gives you a new perspective and transparency on usage data processing. With the help of the Audit dashboard, you can observe trends and patterns to help make informed decisions that can help avoid revenue leakage. You can view default and custom audit metrics related to the streams you have in your solutions.

Custom audit data is generated with the help of the Script Function that calls the audit API in JavaScript. For more information, see Script under audit in the variables/Functions table. A key thing to remember here is that Audit statistics should not be confused with Usage statistics as the former considers processing time whereas the latter, Usage statistics, considers usage event time. The Usage Insights Audit dashboard helps you to understand audit data but not usage data.

Viewing the Audit dashboard

There are a couple of ways to access the Audit dashboard. One way is to select any stream in your solution and then click Audit on the actions toolbar.

Accessing Audit from the Streams list

Note!

You can view the Audit statistics only for a single stream at a time.

Another way is to click Audit on the Stream Editor itself.

Widgets and Graphs

The Audit dashboard consists of widgets and graphs to help visualize audit data. This can assist you in understanding various trends and patterns and making better decisions to avoid revenue leakage.

Click the Refresh button to refresh data on all Audit dashboards.

Widgets show statistics on what percentage of records in the stream have been rejected or duplicated. They can also provide information on the number of input and output records and the ratio between the two. The Audit dashboard also contains graphs to display custom audit information.

Note!

The Audit dashboard will only display 30 days of audit statistics.
