Downgrading from SAP HANA as Platform Database with TLS/SSL

Downgrading from an 8.2 installation that has TLS/SSL enabled for the SAP HANA database to an 8.1 installation will require the following steps to be performed. As  8.1 does not support SAP HANA with TLS/SSL enabled.

  1. Shutdown all picos and Platform. Ensure that all workflows are also stopped before shutting down the EC/ECSA's.
  2. Disable the TLS/SSL on the SAP HANA platform. After disabling the TLS/SSL, you must restart SAP HANA.
  3. Run the following command from the installation directory and ensure that install.xml is not present in the directory.

    ./setup.sh downgrade
