Updating SAP JCo Library from 3.0 to 3.1.2

The SAP Java Connector (SAP JCo) library file will be updated from 3.0 to 3.1.2 in  8.1.4.0

With this new library, support for new ABAP types such as INT8 and UTCLONG will now be available for the SAP RFC agent.

Updating your SAP JCo file

To be able to allow our agent to support the new ABAP types, you will need to update the SAP JCo jar file located in the 3pp directory in your home.

Retrieve the sapjco3.jar file from the sapjco31P zip file provided to you and replace it with the sapjco3.jar file in the 3pp directory. Once that is done, restart the EC that the agent runs on.
