This section covers the setup of the Prometheus monitoring server for collecting and monitoring the metrics in your Usage Engine. The setup of Grafana is also covered in this section.

Although Prometheus also allows you to monitor your data, it only does so for one metric at a time. Grafana visualizes the data from your Prometheus server by allowing you to set up dashboards that can show one or more metrics data and provides you with better analytical tools that you can use to get the most out of your data.

Use the Prometheus filter to configure the metrics that are going to be exposed for scraping.
