There are three different user interfaces:

Desktop Client, available as a local client, which is designed to be used by the solution designer. See Desktop Client User Interface (4.0) .

Note!
In this documentation, the name ‘desktop’ refers to Desktop Client.

Desktop Online, is opened in a browser. It offers the same functionalities as the Desktop Client as well as some exclusive; the Archive Inspector (4.0) and Execution Context Deployments (ECDs) (4.0), see Desktop Online User Interface (4.0).
Command Line Tool, see Command Line Interface (4.0).
