Pico Viewer (3.2)

The Pico Viewer displays a list of all pico instances currently online in the system. You will be able to sort the pico instances's according to the items at the top of the list or search and filter them out for easy viewing.

The Quick Filter will allow you to filter the pico instances according to types, such as Platform, EC, Desktop, Command Line or availability with Running or Unreachable.

Item	Description
Pico Name	Name of the pico instances. For each and every of one the pico instances (Platform, Desktop, EC, Command Line and Web Desktop), a JVM is started.
Group	This shows the name of the group the pico instance is assigned to. For each pico instance, they will be assigned to a default group for that particular pico instance. For example, a Platform will be assigned to the Platforms group and any Desktops will be assigned to the Desktops group. For any EC's that are not assigned to an EC Group, they will be assigned into the Execution Contexts group by default. For more details about EC group and what it is used for, you can see EC Groups(3.0).
Type	The pico instance type of the JVM will be displayed here. These types will be labeled as platform, ec, desktop, webdesktop and commandline.
Status	The status of the JVM will be shown here. If the pico instance is up and can be pinged, it will be shown as running. If it cannot be pinged or the pico instance is shut down, it will be shown as unreachable.
Memory	Shows the amount of memory currently being utilized out of the Java XMS that was set when for the pico instance. When hovering over the mouse pointer on the status bar, a tool-tip will display a message describing how many percent of the memory is currently being used and how many percent of the overall Java XMX memory has been allocated to the pico instance.
Response Time [ms]	The time it took in milliseconds for the local Desktop to invoke a ping on the pico instance. A -1 value signifies that the pico instance is unreachable.
Up Time	This shows the time since the pico instance had started up.
Details	Clicking on the details button will give you the following information regarding the pico instance: IP Address: The IP Address associated with the pico instance. OS Name: The name of the OS associated with the pico instance. OS Version: The version of the OS associated with the pico instance. Java Version: The Java version that the pico instance is running on. Architecture: The OS architecture associated with the pico instance. Processors: The number of processors the pico instance is utilizing. Pid: The Process ID of the pico instance. Used Heap Size: The current usage of the allocated heap memory for the pico instance. Allocated Heap Size: The current size of Java memory allocated for the pico instance. Maximum Heap Size: The maximum Java XMX allocated for the pico instance.
