Alarm Inspection

Alarms are inspected from the Web Interface using two tabs; the first one is the Overview tab that is displayed when a user is logged in. The overview shows the status of MediationZone and a list of the 20 most recent alarms as shown in the figure below.

An alarm can be in either one of two states: open or closed. An open alarm is an indication of a certain occurrence, or situation, that has not been resolved yet. A closed alarm is a resolved indication (when closing an alarm, comments can be logged).

Example of the Alarm Inspector

The second tab is the Alarm Inspector where alarms can be searched and filtered. The result is presented in a table showing the alarm name, description and severity configured in the MediationZone Alarm Detection Editor.
