2.5.1 System Administration UI - System Overview
The System Overview page displays a graph that represents the system topology.
System Overview page
The nodes in the graph include the the cell, containers, pico instances, and workflows. The type is indicated by the color:
- The cell (default) - purple
- Containers - cyan
- Pico instances - (green when started, gray when not started, red when unreachable)
- Workflows - cyan
You can reorganize the nodes in the graph by using drag and drop.
Freezing the View
Click the Frozen button to tie the nodes in the graph remain to their current position. When Frozen is selected, you can still drag and drop individual nodes but the connnected nodes will not move. This function is useful when you want to keep the nodes in the current position after a refreshing the browser window.
Toggle Node Types
Click the Nodes menu to toggle node types in the graph.

cell | Select this check box to display cell nodes. |
pico | Select this check box to display pico instance nodes. |
workflow | Select this check box to display workflows. |
Toggle Node Relationships
Click the Relationships menu button to toggle the edges that indicate relationships between the nodes.

container-pico | Select this check box to display edges between containers and their pico instances. |
cell-container | Select this check box to display edges between cells and their containers. |
nature | Select this check box to display edges between SCs that share the same natures. |
pico-workflow | Select this check box to display edges between pico instances their workflows. |
Click the icon () next to node types to display a Strength slider that you use to control the relative proximity of different node types.
Filter Nodes
Click the Filter menu to filter containers, picos and active workflows.
Containers
To filter out containers in the graph that do not contain any pico instances, deselect the check box Show containers without picos.
Picos
To filter pico types, click the Type menu button. The following pico types are listed:
- Platform
- EC
- ECSA
- SC
To filter picos based on running status, click Status. The following are listed:
- Running
- Not Started
Active Workflows
To filter workflows, enter full or partial names in the text fields. The following filters are available:
- Folder (Configuration folder)
- Workflow (Workflow configuration
- Instance (Workflow)
The fields are combined by AND logic.
Managing Views
Click on the Topology menu to select, save, or remove views of the system topology, including:
- Position of the nodes in the graph (if frozen)
- Node filter
- Relationship filter

To save the current view in the browser enter the name of view and click the Save button.
To open a view click on a name under the menu.
The remove a view, click on the delete icon () next to the view name. If you delete all available views the default view will be recreated.
Viewing Graph in Full Screen Mode
To view the graph in full screen mode click the Full Screen () button. To exit full screen mode, use the back button in the browser.
