9.1.1 AFT TCP Agent Configuration

You open the AFT/TCP agent configuration dialog from a workflow configuration: you can right-click the agent icon and select Configuration..., or double-click the agent icon.

| Setting | Description |

EIU Host | Host name or IP-address of the Ethernet Interface Unit. |
EIU Port | TCP/IP port number, corresponding to the EIU Host. Default port is 7530. |
MTP Trace | If enabled, the agent will trace all MTP messages in hex. The messages will be traced as ordinary events. |
Keep Alive | If enabled, the agent tells the system to perform a continuous test that the remote host is up and running. The keep-alive functionality will make sure that bad connections are discovered. The keep-alive interval is system dependent. Default is 7200 000 (milliseconds). |
Timeout (sec) | The value defines the maximum time, in seconds, to wait for replies from commands. 0 (zero) means wait forever. |
