To open the Prometheus forwarding agent configuration, click Build → New Configuration . Select Workflow from the Configurations dialog. When prompted to Select workflow type , select Batch. Click Add agent and select Prometheus in the Forwarding tab in the Agent Selection dialog.
To publish metrics using the Prometheus forwarding agent, create a Prometheus UDR and send it to the agent. For further information on the Prometheus UDR, see 9.57.2 Prometheus UDR Type.
Each UDR results in one cached metric, to be scraped by a Prometheus instance. In case the cache becomes full, the oldest metric is removed when a new one arrives.
Only numeric values can be used to populate the value field of the Prometheus UDR.
