The feature described in this documentation is optional and might not be part of the edition covered by your company's license.
When the Usage Metering solution has been designed as described in Designing a Usage Metering Solution and is being executed on regular basis. You may want to inspect your meters using the Meter Inspector to ensure that the Meter processor is aggregating the usage as scheduled, or that the meters are updated for specific meter types. You may also use Meter Search to view a specific customer’s usage balance to answer any question that your customer may have about their usage.
At this point, you may add new meter types with any existing category without updating your meter configuration. For more information on category and when you can have same category for meter types see Creating Meter Types.
Meters can be added or deleted using APIs anytime before or after the stream execution is scheduled.
