When your Usage Metering solution is up and running, the usage for each customer is aggregated in a meter which can be viewed using Inspect view. In this view, you can see all the meters configured for the Meter processor. This view can be used to ensure that usage is being aggregated according to schedule.
To inspect all the meters associated to a Meter processor:
Open the Usage Metering stream. Double-click on the meter processor function and click on the Inspect tab to view a table with all the meters:
At the top of the view you can see widgets displaying the number meter types used by meters for this processor, categories used by those meter types, total number of meters connected to the meter processor function, and in the table you can see details about each meter with their respective current values.
In the bottom part you can see:
Period Start - The date time when this meter has started aggregating for current period. Shown in selected timezone of meter type.
Period end - The date time when this meter will be reset and flush the metered record to downstream system. This is calculated based on the schedule and timezone defined in the meter type for which this meter is being created for. Shown in selected timezone of meter type.
User Id - The unique user identifier for a customer to which the meter belongs to.
Meter type - The meter type for which this meter is being created for.
Value - The current aggregated value of this meter.
Unit - Unit which the meter is aggregating for. It is defined in the meter type for which the meter is being created for.

Here you can see the record that will be sent to the billing system with the current state and values for the meter in JSON format, see Flushing of Metered Record. You can also click on the button if you want to reuse this in another context. Close the dialog by clicking on the X top right or the Cancel button.
Note!
You can also open the Inspect view from the Usage Metering View if you expand a meter type and click on the View button for a stream. The Inspect view for the associated meter processor will then open up and a filter will have been applied for the selected meter type, see next step for information about filters.
If you have many meters in a long list you can click on the Filter button and enter a specific meter type, or a User ID, or a combination of both, that you want the displayed meters to match.
If you do not want to see all the columns or widgets, you can click on the Display options button and deselect the checkboxes for the columns you do not want to display, and also switch off the Overview widgets option.
The default number of rows displayed is 100 rows, if you want to show less, you can click on the Show drop-down list at the bottom right and select to view either 50, 20, or 10 rows.
If you have had the Inspect view open for a while, you can click on the Refresh data to update the table.
Close the view by clicking on the X top right when you are finished.
