The Diameter Transport Security(3.0)

The Diameter protocol communication can be protected by using Transport Layer Security, TLS.

Setting up the TLS for Diameter

To enable TLS for Diameter, you can use the Security profile. For more information about Security profile, refer to Security (3.0)


Example - TLS Configuration

Should there already be an existing Security profile set up, you can follow these steps. If you do not have a Security profile set up, refer to Security (3.0) for more information.

  1. In the Diameter Stack configuration that you want to set the TLS for, click on the browse button at Security Profile and select the Security profile from the browser.

  2. From the Peer Table, in the Diameter Routing profile configuration select the TCP/TLS protocol for the peer with which you want to establish a secure connection.
