This section describes the Diameter profiles and the Diameter agents. The agents are processing agent for real-time workflow configurations.

The Diameter agents enable you to configure MediationZone to act as a Diameter server, a Diameter client, or as a Diameter Proxy agent, by applying the Diameter Base Protocol.

Prerequisites

The user of this information should be familiar with the Diameter Base Protocol, RFC 6733 (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc6733.html), which obsoletes RFC 3588
