To work with notification groups in your stream, you must first create a notification group. Notification groups can be created in the Notification Groups view.

The Notification Groups view shows a listing of created notification groups or you can search for a specific notification group by name in the search bar. Notification groups can also be edited or deleted in the Notification Groups view.

Once a notification group is created, you can set notifications in a stream to send email alerts to the notification group for designated stream events.

There are several stream event types to send the notifications for.

Stream Event Type

Description

no file is found

A notification will be sent when there are no files found in the current stream.

stream Fails

A notification will be sent when the stream fails to execute.

stream is successful

A notification will be sent when the stream has completed running successfully.

error arrives in data correction

A notification will be sent whenever there is a new error in Data Correction. Refer to Data Correction for more information.

To avoid large amounts of emails being sent for the same event, there is a cool-down period of 30 minutes during which email sending is suspended for the same event. During this time, you will only receive one email for a specific event in a stream, even if the event occurs multiple times in the same stream.
