Switch Tab

SettingDescription

Host Name

The host name of the 5ESS switch.

User Name

User name as defined in the 5ESS switch.

Password

Password related to the User Name.

Path and File Prefix Name

The beginning of the filename to retrieve. This can be a string pattern for filename matching according to Lucent specification.

Stop at Number

If specified, the agent will collect all sub-files between File Generation Number and Stop at Number and then stop the workflow. If not specified, the agent will continue collecting sub-files forever according to the values set in  Wrap On/Wrap To .

Wrap On/Wrap To

If Stop at Number is not set, the agent will continue collecting sub-files forever, wrapping to the Wrap To number after reaching the Wrap On number. Default is wrapping to 0000 after reaching 9999.

Selection Order

To specify the logical state of the files to be collected. Possible values are specified in the switch documentation.

Use File Generation Number

Determines if file generation number and selection order will be part of the filename.

Remove After Collection

Determines if the file will be removed from the 5ESS switch after collection.



Example

This example aims to demonstrate filename generation.

The configuration in the Figure FTAM/5ESS agent configuration window, Switch tab. can be used to retrieve the following switch files in SAFE state:

06091C.2216
06092C.2217
06093C.2218
06094C.2219
06094D.2220
...	

When the agent is asking for the first file (06091C.2216) the corresponding file name pattern will be *[A-Z].2216;STATE=SAFE.

SettingDescription

Host

Host name or IP-address of the host where the FTAM Interface service is running. This field should contain the host alias, which is located in the <ROOT_DIR>/etc/host_def folder.

Port

Port number on the Host, on which the FTAM Interface service is listening. The default port number is 16702.

SettingDescription

Account

Optional account name, as defined in the 5ESS switch, if utilized.

File Store Password

Optional password for file access, as defined in the 5ESS switch, if utilized.

Document Type

A list from which the data format is selected; unstructured text, record-oriented text, or unstructured binary.
