The External Reference profile enables you to use configuration values in
that originate from property files or exported environment variables from the Platform's startup shell.
You can use the values provided by External Reference profiles in workflow- and agent profile configurations.
The External Reference profile is loaded when you start a workflow that depends on it. Changes to the profile become effective when you restart the workflow.
