This section describes the SFTP agents. There are two types of SFTP agents:

  • SFTP Collection Agent

  • SFTP Forwarding Agent

The collection agent is available for batch and real-time workflows. The forwarding agent is available for batch workflows.

The SFTP agent collects and forwards files from and to a remote host using the SFTP protocol over the SSH protocol.
