Troubleshooting for the Data Repository in PCC(4.3)
This section contains information about general troubleshooting in the event of any problems with the Data Repository.
The Couchbase Web Console can be used for troubleshooting issues that don’t relate to adding, editing, or removing buckets or adding servers. See the Couchbase documentation at http://docs.couchbase.com/.
Failover
Failover can be performed either automatically by Couchbase itself, Usage Engine, or manually in the Couchbase Web Console.
Automatic Failover
The Couchbase Cluster can be configured to perform automatic failover if a server node in a cluster is unable to serve data for a specified number of seconds. The default timeout is 120 seconds.
Manual Failover
For information about how to perform a manual failover in the Web Console, see the Couchbase documents at the link above.
General Troubleshooting
The Couchbase Web Console contains instructions for general troubleshooting, what actions to take for specific errors, how to check logs, as well as descriptions of common errors.
