SAP CC Agents
This section describes the SAP CC agents.
SAP CC provides a rating and charging solution for high-volume processing in service industries. It delivers pricing design capabilities, high-performance rating, and convergent balance management. The SAP CC Batch agent provides an easy way to integrate MediationZone with SAP CC using Offline charging.
The SAP CC Online agent is a real-time agent that can be used to send charging requests to SAP CC and to handle the response from the server.
The SAP CC Online agent communicates with the workflow by using a dedicated set of UDRs. The SAP CC Online agent accepts any charging request UDR as input. A CCCycleUDR, containing both the request and the answer, will be returned as output. Update: SAP CC team has announced the following on official support for SAP CC versions
For SAP CC 2023 or newer, use Java 17-based clients such as MZ 9.x
For SAP CC 2022 or earlier, use Java 8-based clients such as MZ 8.3.x
Note!
SAP provides an extended migration phase from Mediation Zone 8.x to Mediation Zone 9.x while using an upgraded version 2023 of SAP CC.
