SAP CC Agents
This section describes the SAP CC agents.
Supported Versions
The following versions of SAP CC are currently supported:

Note!
Update: The SAP CC team announced the following on official support information for SAP CC versions:
For SAP CC 2023 or newer (including SAP CC 2025), please use Java 17 based clients such as MZ 9.x
For SAP CC 2022 or earlier, please use Java 8 based clients such as MZ 8.3.x
Note!
Mediation 9.x is a Java 17 application and therefore cannot use SAP CC Core SDK client JAR files built for Java 25, such as those delivered with SAP CC 2025 FPS1.
However, because SAP CC follows an ascending compatibility policy, you can connect MediationZone 9.x to a Java 25 based SAP CC 2025 FPS1 server by using the SAP CC 2025 FPS0 SDK, which is compiled for Java 17. No JVM upgrade is required for MediationZone 9.x in this scenario.

SAP provides an extended migration phase from MediationZone 8.x to MediationZone 9.x while you use an upgraded version 2023 of SAP CC. Refer to the MediationZone 8.3 documentation https://infozone.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MD83/pages/5965654for more details.
Prerequisites
Before you start using the SAP CC agents, you must have the following:
Knowledge of SAP Convergent Charging concepts.
SAP Convergent Charging installation materials that match the version of your SAP CC core system (i.e., the back-end servers).

We recommend that you upgrade your SAP CC server to the latest patch whenever possible.
