2.2.2 Configure System Insight without InfluxDB Instances

If you want to run System Insight using the System Insight collection or forwarding agent, you can disable storage backend (i e InfluxDB or CloudWatch) by taking the steps provided below.

  1. Use the following mzsh topo set command to disable the storage backend:

    $ mzsh topo set topo://services:custom/val:system-insight.si-instance.config.storage-backend none
  2. Restart the Platform and SC(s):


    $ mzsh restart platform
    $ mzsh system restart
  3. Start the system insight service:

    $ mzsh service start
