You open the MIM agent configuration dialog from a workflow configuration: you can right-click the agent icon and select Configuration..., or double-click the agent icon.

The MIM agent configuration dialog lists all of the profiles that you can select for which you want to send statistics for visualization to System Insight.

If you have set the property mz.mimagent.update.enable to true, as mentioned in step 1 of 9.79.6.1 MIM Agent Preparations, you can select and clear the relevant check box(es) for each available profile as required. If you have retained the default behavior, i.e. the property mz.mimagent.update.enable is false, you can only select for which Couchbase profiles you want to create statistics from the Advanced tab of the relevant Couchbase profile.

To save your MIM agent configuration, click OK. If you do not want to save, click Cancel.

Additional Configuration to use the MIM Agent

After you have configured the MIM agent, and completed and saved your workflow, there are several steps that you must take to configure System Insight to visualize the statistics.

1. Run the workflow that you have created in the Workflow Monitor.
   
   
2. Create a System Insight profile as described in 9.79.2 System Insight Profile. You can create a filter in the Filter tab, or use the Detected Metrics tab to create a filter.
   
   
   
   
3. You can then configure your metrics to determine what you want to display in your chosen visualization tool. For information on how to do this, see 4. Managing System Insight.
