Disaster Recovery

A disaster is only declared by DigitalRoute when there is a loss of services and uncertainty on whether service can be restored within a reasonable period of time. Emergency incidents are assessed by DigitalRoute. A DigitalRoute management member with proper authorization must officially declare a disaster in order to initiate a Disaster Recovery plan. Operations from the “Disaster Recovery site” could last anywhere from a few weeks to many months. Initiation of the fallback plan is at DigitalRoute’s sole discretion.

The restoration of the service would be restored with the latest available back-up for the Customer configuration. Any available Customer data present in the system will be restored as well. It is at the discretion of the Customer to discard the data restored. Support can be requested to Support Services to perform this operation.
