Customer is the Data Controller of the Customer Personal Data, and DigitalRoute, directly and via its engagement of Sub-processors, is the processor of Customer Personal Data.
During the duration of the services the Customer Personal Data responsibilities about collection and temporal storage of the data lie at the Customer. The services provided by Usage Engine are for the sole purpose of processing data and not for its storage. The Customer needs to make sure that only data needed for business legal purposes is kept in the system.
DigitalRoute acknowledges the importance of the Customer data being processed by the Usage Engine. Therefore, it commits to all the commercially reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access from third parties for Customer’s data.
As part of the service, DigitalRoute reserves the right to access the Customer’s processed data under the following conditions:
- provide support for a customer support request,
- by authorized support Engineers of DigitalRoute,
- by notifying the Customer when such access has been performed.
