Version tags

When you are in Edit mode, you can apply tags with an optional description to a specific version of a stream configuration. The tags will be visible in the Version history, in the stream and audit logs (see Viewing tags), and if you export a tagged version of the stream, the tag and the description will be included in the export, see Exporting tagged versions for more details.

When a stream is first created or when you make edits to a tagged version, it will be automatically saved and appear in the Version history as Autosaved. There is only one autosaved entry, reflecting your latest edits.

You must apply a version tag before scheduling a stream or stream group. This will help you keep track of which version was executed by a scheduled run. See Schedule for more information about scheduling streams.

In the Version history, you can view a complete history of each version of a stream that has been tagged, with added markers to indicate if they are the latest version of the stream (as Current), or if a version of the stream has been scheduled (as Scheduled).
