When you start a deployed stream with this button, it will start the deployed tagged version of the stream for the schedule. See Deploying a stream or stream group for more information.

To stop a stream that is currently running, click the Stop button. The status will change to "Stopped," and the button will switch back to Start.

Hint!
You can also start or stop a stream from the Solution page by clicking on the More button for the stream and selecting Start or Stop in the pop-up menu.

See Solutions for more information.

Live metrics bar

The Live metrics bar displays the number of input and output records processed by the stream, the current stream duration, as well as the version of the stream being run. It is visible only while the stream is running and automatically disappears from the Stream editor when the stream completes. The metrics update every 5 seconds to reflect the latest activity of the running stream.
