You can create and provision a KPI model in three different ways: Creating a Profile and Service Model Using the Model Builder, Service Model Definition, Creating a Profile and Provisioning via REST.
To deploy the new service model:
- Stop all KPI Management workflows that will use the service model.
- Kill Spark applications and associated drivers that will use the service model. For further information about the Spark UI, see 5.7.3 Killing a Spark Application.
Remove the checkpoint directory. The default path is
MZ_HOME/spark-checkpoint-dir.- Submit the Spark application. For further information, see 5.7.2 Submitting a Spark Application.
- Start the KPI Management workflows that will use the service model.
