You use the SAP RFC profile to dynamically generate UDRs based on selected SAP RFC functions that are part of an SAP system.

Configuration

The contents of the menus in the menu bar may change depending on which configuration type that has been opened in the currently active tab. The SAP RFC profile uses the standard menu items and buttons that are visible for all configurations.

There is one menu item that is specific for SAP RFC configurations:

Select this menu item to Enable External References in an agent profile field. Refer to Enabling External References in an Agent Profile Field in External Reference Profile(3.0) for further information.


SettingDescription
UsernameEnter the SAP user ID
PasswordEnter the SAP user password, alternatively, you can use Secrets Profile to retrieve it from the stored credentials.
HostEnter the IP address of the SAP System
Enable Load BalancingSelect this check box to enable load balancing for SAP Jco.
System IDEnter the 3-character code for the SAP System
Message Server HostEnter the hostname/IP of the SAP Message Server
Message Server PortEnter the port of the SAP Message Server.
Group NameEnter the group name associated with the SAP System
SAP System NumberEnter the SAP System number
SAP Client NumberEnter the SAP Client number
Test ConnectionTest the connection to the SAP RFC system.
SAP RFC FunctionsAdd the desired RFC functions.
Generate RFC UDRGenerate the UDR for the selected SAP RFC function, according to the SAP-defined structure. When the UDR has been generated, click Save to save the UDR to the profile.
