A workflow configuration enables you to create a workflow consisting of:

  • A workflow template, the schema of the agents, and routes that you design on the canvas.
  • A list of workflows that share the same settings and are included in the configuration.
  • The workflow properties:
    • Workflow table: The appearance of the table that displays the list of workflows and any configuration specific to each workflow.
    • Error handling: Sets how errors are handled for the workflow.
    • Audit settings: Map the audit data to an audit table in a database.
    • Execution options: Set up ways to execute your workflows.

Note!

Every workflow configuration is a single entity, regardless of the number of workflows it contains.

You create a new workflow configuration from the Build view of the Desktop User Interface. To open a workflow configuration, click Build  New Configuration. Select Workflow from the Configurations dialog.

To open an existing workflow configuration, click Build and select the workflow configuration in the Configuration Browser, or right-click a workflow configuration and then select View Configuration.

Info!

If this is your first time working with a workflow, it is recommended that you start your reading here at Workflow Template.
