The Web API enables external systems to collect status information from selected parts of the MediationZone, as well as start and stop workflows and workflow groups. It is RESTful Web Service based API. The response is serialized to either XML (default) or JSON. Status information can be collected for hosts, picos, workflows and workflow groups.
