The Audit tab in the Workflow Properties dialog defines what information to enter in the user table(s) as defined in the Audit profile configuration. Either the MIM values are entered from this window, or anything can be sent on with the APL audit functions (from Analysis or Aggregation agents).

Enable Audit

Turns on audit for the workflow.

Profile

Click Browse... to select an audit profile from the drop-down list. For further information, see Audit Profile.

Column Name

The name of the columns as defined in the selected Audit profile.

Type

The type of the columns as defined in the Audit profile.

Assign By

Indicates if the column will be populated using APL functions or via configuration using existing MIM values. Valid options are:

Method - The column will be populated through any of the APL functions auditAdd or auditSet. The first is used on Counter columns, and the latter on Value columns.

MIM - The column will be populated with the MIM value selected in the MIM Resource column.

System - Reserved for the Transaction Id.

MIM Resource

Valid only if MIM is selected in Assign By. Click on the MIM button to display a dialog from which you can select existing MIM values.

Log Audit on Cancel Batch

If enabled, audit is logged for canceled batches.

Counter column values will be reset for canceled batches, while value columns will keep the value they had when the batch was canceled.
