A Routing Control – Diameter Routing Agent (DRA) – is a functional element function in a 3G or 4G network which provides real-time routing capabilities to ensure that diameter messages are routed among the correct elements in a network. DRA can act as:
Relay agent: supports basic Diameter message forwarding with no message modification or inspection function.
Proxy agent: supports the ability to inspect and modify Diameter messages.
This Right to Use (RTU) grants the licensee the right to use DigitalRoute’s Usage Engine – Private Edition software in accordance with this definition.
