To use the Aggregation Session Inspector, the EC specified as the Storage Host in the Storage tab of the Aggregation profile configuration must be up and running.

Initially, the dialog is empty and must be populated with data using the corresponding Search Sessions dialog, see the section below, The Search Sessions Dialog, for details. The following section describes the options in the Edit menu. The File and View menus contain standard options for saving, closing, and refreshing.

The dialog also appears when you double-click the Index column of the session.

Validate Storage

When you select the Validate Storage menu item, after performing a search, all the aggregation storage session files are validated. This is done by attempting to read the session data to establish what can and cannot be read. If the storage contains references to corrupt sessions, an option to remove them is given.

Views

Allows a more detailed view of the UDRs in the session list. For further information about UDR Views, see the Ultra Reference Guide.

Search Handling

Disable Read Only if the content of the sessions

need

needs to be altered. Exclusive access to the repository is required to alter the sessions, meaning that if a currently running workflow is using the selected profile, the workflow needs to be stopped to be able to get exclusive access.

Disable Limit results if you want to fetch all sessions in the session index. This can be time and memory-consuming. Change Limit results to get fewer/more results. The total number of results is briefly shown in the status bar of the search result dialog.
