Configuration

The contents of the menus in the menu bar may change depending on which configuration type that has been opened in the currently active tab. The SAP RFC profile uses the standard menu items and buttons that are visible for all configurations.

There is one menu item that is specific for SAP RFC configurations:

UsernameThe Enter the SAP user ID
PasswordThe Enter the SAP user password, alternatively, you can use Secrets Profile to retrieve it from the stored credentials.
HostThe Enter the IP address of the SAP System
Enable Load BalancingSelect this check box to enable load balancing for SAP Jco.
System IDThe Enter the 3-character code for the SAP System
Message Server HostThe Enter the hostname/IP of the SAP Message Server
Message Server PortThe Enter the port of the SAP Message Server.
Group NameThe Enter the group name associated with the SAP System

Test ConnectionClick this button to test Test the connection to the SAP RFC system.
SAP RFC FunctionsClick the Add button to add the required desired RFC functions.
Generate RFC UDRClick this button to generate Generate the UDR for the selected SAP RFC function, according to the SAP-defined structure in SAP. When the UDR has has been generated, click Save to save the UDR to the profile.
