A launcher service is an external web service that returns a list of existing platforms to the desktop launcher. For further information about the launcher service interface, see Launcher Service Interface. Follow these steps to add a launcher service: - Click Add Instance and then Add a launcher service.
Adding a launcher service
- Enter the URL of the launcher service.
- Enter an arbitrary name for the service.
Click OK. The Desktop Launcher will download downloads a list of instances that are provided by the service.
