If the existing installation has additional JVM arguments configured which that are obsolete in Java 17, remove them and update to use supported options.

Follow the steps in this section to To upgrade an Execution Container., follow these steps:

  1. Before proceeding with starting the upgrade process, you are required to perform backups, copy ensure you have performed all necessary backups. Copy the MZ license file to the release directory and prepare the install.xml file. To do this, follow the steps in Upgrade Preparations changing to change the necessary fields to the respective Execution Container values.

Ensure that the value for install.type is  value is set only to ec when  only when upgrading the Execution Container.
